DaNutt's Errors is a long established, Massachusetts based, error Coin business dating back to 1980. DaNutt's Errors was founded and run by Mr. Pete Bishal. Mr. Bishal handled all types of foreign and domestic error coinage while specializing in 1878 Morgan Dollar errors and varieties. At one time, Mr. Bishal owned all 4 of the 1878 VAM 44 type of Morgan Dollars. Over the years he owned or handled 90% of all of the 1878 VAM 44's ever discovered. |
| I
never had the opportunity to meet Pete
personally, but talked to him many times in the chat room. He will surely be missed by everyone. The coin hobby has lost a good man. Rest in peace, my friend. - Michael - MMAC |

| I
have the unpleasant task of informing you that Pete "Danutt" Bishal passed
away this morning while attending a coin show in New York that I was attending.
Pete apparently died from what was described to me as a heart attack

Pete
contributed to the error hobby for several decades and will be missed for
years to come. He specialized in all types of U.S. and world errors. His
research in 1878 Morgan Dollar varieties was published. I met Pete several
times at coin shows in Baltimore and New York. He always was friendly and
a nice guy to visit with. Pete had a vast knowledge of the minting process
and dealt with many error dealers and collectors.

I
have been in the hobby for quite a number of years and active for many
of them. I have met quite a number of very impressive and smart people
in this hobby but the fellow I met at error-ramma in California in the
early 80s has stuck in my mind ever since. Pete Bishel was a wild,
crazy, smart, intelligent, honest, friendly guy that I took an instant
likeing to. This is probably the first hobby death that I am truly
going to miss. God Bless You, Pete.
